Smile A Big "Hello" from Florida U.S.A.

I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself . I've been riding for 30+ yrs and after reading the forum and checking out the site ,, I think this is a fantastic place , and is the 1st time I've ever joined any bike site .
With me buying a CBR recently I found this a must for any CBR owner.
A little about me ,, well ,, I'm a U.S Army veteran , A father of 4 children , and a computer tech / business owner & I was an A.S.E. Mechanic , my cert is expired now but it all goes into what I own now . I love to ride , both on the street and on the dirt as my photo album shows . Currently my 11 yr old son and I dirt bike ride just about every weekend , as he loves to ride too. He is currently trying out for walsh racing for the jr moto circuit . He rides a Honda XR80-R and we are having a CRF "extreme" built for his racing. The 2 strokes are making a come back , and this should prove to be challenging . The "93"CBR1000F Hurricane I own is a blast from the past , but a blast to ride non the less . I enjoy getting out to ride even if it's to work or out cruising for fun . With gas prices going up with no end in sight , soon many more people with be riding as I see more and more bikes on the road nowadays and is becoming a popular choice in todays economy , including myself.
Thank you for having me on your forum , and I hope to contribute to the cause ,,,and to those who need help. A BIG hello to all from Live Oak , Fl !!

Welcome aboard SHR. Thank you for adding you experience to our collective.

You've got that right about gas prices! I ride everywhere that I can.

Again, glad you're here.

Default For the honor of a fellow service member!

A BIG SALUTE to you my brother in arms !!
Yes, Live Oak is indeed small and I frequent the winding roads on the ole Hurricane around Peacock springs and I go to lake city & madison motoplex's for some fun in the dirt with my son. I tell you what ,,, stay safe... be careful over there ,, and when you return home ,, give me a E.T.A . when you return home stateside,, I'll consider it an honor to go for a run with you ,,side by side . Just drop me a message ,, and we will meet up . It has been very cool to meet you on here on CBRF .
And I Thank you for YOUR service ! It is indeed an honor. HHOOORRAAHH!!

Thank you Nate ! Oh yes ,, some really good people on here too!
I just got the workshop and owners p.d.f. manual , plus the segment on calibrating the carbs here. What a golden gem to have ! I love it! Met a fellow CBR Live Oakian brother serving the military for our great country too!
CBRF is a really outstanding site!
