Welcome to the forum.
Be forwarned, you are re-opening up a can of worms about best starter bike.
This has been disussed extensivly on previous posts. May wanna do a search and read up if you have not already.
Lots of opinions and suggentions to go around but it really depends on you, andhow responsible you are.
Good luck, be safe, and please don't be stupid.

Hey, Welcome to the Forum, but if you are justing getting into riding, I would recommend the 600, it is enough power to get up and go, but not too much to hurt yourself. Starting off with a 1000, you may end up pulling a Rich Christensen, and we don't want that happening to anyone! Good luck finding the right bike, remember to have gear BEFORE you start riding, and ride safe man!
