Battery suddenly depleted
Hi,just want to ask,my battery were fine,bUt suddenly my bike cant start,so i change new battery. The previous battery is new too, just change it 4 month ago. Is it the stator?
How do i know that the rectifier is out? Before this i change the rectifier because it blew when i was riding.
@Azham To see if the Rectifier/Regulator (R/R) is working, you need a meter. Typically the voltage on your battery will be between 12v and 13v when the engine is off. When you start the bike, the R/R converts the AC voltage that the Alternator is creating and turns it into DC voltage. You will typically see anywhere from 13.5v to 15v DC while the engine is running. That is what keeps the battery charged. Oh yea, welcome to the forum and enjoy your bike.

Did you check the voltage at 5000 rpm? Check that, the stator continuity, and the connector between them.
At this point, I would replace the regulator and stator to have a 100% good system and be done with it.
