Default BAD GAS?

hey there, i recently bought a 97cbr600 f3. it's been a blast, today i went for a ride. had half a tank of gas, so i filled up at the station. i rode appx 50 miles, and the bike started actin up, almost seems to miss, very poor acceleration. does anybody believe i could have gone 50 miles before the bad gas started flowing into the engine? i'm kinda boggled. that is the last fuel problem before i check ignition and it being a bigger problem. thank you.

Hi 97. welcome. I wouldn't think it was the gas. I'm sure the sloshing arournd would have mixed it and become a problem sooner

I had a tank of bad gas before. Didn't want to start and ran a little rough. Found out the gas station I filled up at the night before flooded with muddy water, therefore the gas had all that crap in it. (gas station never told anyone either.)

I syphoned most of the fuel out of the tank and refilled it using fresh gas. Problem went away and never happened again.

But usually (like EPNF4i said earlier), the sloshing around usually keeps it running normally while in motion.
