I've had this bike since 2010. This is a US model, hence the color, which was not sold over here. It was imported from the US by the first owner, some time around 2007 as far as I know.

It really rides well. It is pretty much original except for a few things which I swapped out due to wear and tear. It had a few blemishes due to the previous owner laying it down at low speed, on both sides apparently . Some bits were replaced and I have repaired a few scratches on the right lower fairing. The right fairing mounting tab on the oil sump is broken off, so I may try to get a new sump.

It stood still for the last 3 years in my garage as I started doing major maintenance on it but never finished. I got my act together last winter, and put it on the road again this spring. There is still a slow oil leak (1-2 drops per day) from the stator cover that I have to fix. Maybe a new gasket is enough. I use it for fun and commuting when the weather is good. The cooling system works perfectly, with the fan cutting in at about 102C. The temperature stays at 80-85C when moving, but it gets pretty hot in stop-and-go traffic. Maybe a new radiator would help.

I don't know if the temp gauge reading high is normal for your bike. It is on the 1000F.
