I'm seeking some help with a problem I experienced last night riding home from work. I have recently purchased a 1999 honda cbr600 f4. About four mile, on the way home, The bike began to lose power, downshifted to the point that I had no choice but to pull the bike off the road. Tried several time to restart the bike but had no luck. It would turn-over but not fire. It had rained heavily, earlier in the evening, But it stop prior to me leaving for home. I haven't tried anything as of yet to resolve the problem. Not sure if maybe rain entered thru the intakes or thru the gas cap seal. Maybe its the plugs, I'm going to start with the plugs. If anyone can help directed me, as to what to look at next would be greatly appreciated.
