Default 1998 CBR 600F3 Smokin' Joes Special Edition Fairings

Hello CBR Nation!
I bought a 1998 CBR 600F3 Smokin' Joes Special Edition about a year ago in rough condition. I've nursed her back to very good running condition, so now I'm hoping to make some cosmetic upgrades. I don't want to buy the cheap Chinese replacement fairings for this Special Edition. I really want to keep everything as stock and retro as possible. So, I'm looking for either a FULL set of OEM Smokin' Joes fairings in better condition OR just the right side upper, mid, and lower fairings (see red arrows in the picture below). I have search bots activated on Ebay, but had no luck on good condition OEM fairings in the last year. If anyone out there has these pieces or knows someone that might want to part with them, PLEASE let me know. Thanks!!

Here is a photo of my 1998 CBR 600F3 Smokin Joes Special Edition with the right side upper, mid, and lower fairings that I'm looking for.

i got a 2003 bike and for that thing a new upper cowl is not even available.
When somebody ramed me off my bike it officially was totalled. I bought a new fairingset but it is not as good as Honda once produced them.
For me I find comfort that the bike still looks original, and I can still drive it. Altough it kinda hurts that it is not the original fairingset anymore.
good luck

Default Good suggestion!

Thanks! I didn't really think that would be possible, but perhaps for the lower and mid fairing, it could work. The upper right fairing has a piece broken off just above the mirror that attaches to the upper windscreen. That part wold need to be completely replaced. Perhaps I could find another set of 1998 600F3 fairings and have them repainted to match. Thanks for the suggestion.

Bummer chris0986. You are right that at least you can still ride the bike and it mostly has its original look. I'm fine with riding mine with a few scratches and cracks in the fairings, but that little OCD voice in the back of my head won't completely let it go. I'll find these pieces somewhere. Thanks for the reply!

If I were you and you're proper OCD I would buy a blank fairing kit and do the preparationwork myself.
Then let the fairings paint at a proper paint shop.
Then you keep the qualityprocess in hand and it will give you the result you desire.
Still, finding the original fairings would be preferable, because the plastics are probably just better.

I've done a fair bit of plastic repair. If you put up a more detailed pic of the damage I could probably recommend a repair technique. You'd be surprised what you can accomplish with a quality flexible filler and a bit of panelbond

Repair will probably be more feasible than replacement.
