Default 1988 cbr250

hi, new here.
im looking at getting a 1988 cbr250, mainly that year cos it has more power than the later year cbr250's. any advice would be great. i have seen a couple on bike sales with 20,000-50,000km's selling for around $3500. is this a fair price? what things should i be looking at when buying?
any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,
Sean.

Welcome to the forum Sean.

I'm with Conrice, that sounds like a lot. I'm not sure of the value there in Australia, but here in the states, a CBR 250rr goes for not much more than that, brand new. They can be had slightly used for less.

I would think that a 1988 250 would sell for next to nothing, just about anywhere.

I wish it was cheaper but that seems to be about the cheapest I have been able to find here in australia
