I bought my 07' in some small town in SE Kansas. Worst drive of my life, but definitely worth the savings. The dealership is called Honda of Chanute www.hondaofchanute.com They do so much volume that they can afford to cut their margins which in turn saved me about $1300.
I pay $250/yr in insurance. I'm 27yrs old and also have 3 cars on the same plan, so that helps out.

My base price was $9499. I live in California things out here are too darn expensive.[:'(]

 

i live in fl i have an 07 cbr black, my base price was 9998. but no DP required and minumum payment is $209. with preparation, gap, warranty, prepaid maintenance and all the extras it came to $14k after tax. i do get crazy deals for all parts and free installation and a free helmet i know the vp of the dealership. 209/mth no down payment, fine deal if you ask me its my first bike at 20 yrs old.
