Are they the exact same? Not many aftermarket retailers have parts listed for the 06 and was curious if one could buy parts for a 05 instead.

 

I presume you mean 05 and 06 1000RR ? ? ? If you do then theres a few small differences. Places won`t have stuff listed cos there only just out, usually takes a couple of months for stuff to be made for new models.

 

im pretty sure they're diff. no point in doing a revamp if you're gonna keep things the same. the body styling and swingarms are def diff. i dont see why anything would be the same. look at the 600rrs. you cant even use the same exhausts.
