Asside from the Big cbrforum meet I want to set up a MIDWEST SUMMER MEET, that maybe we could do annually or even multiple times aseason. To get things startedit sounds likemost people don't wanna do a huge event so I think we should start small and set up aweekend meet just to see if we can get some people together for a ride and a bike show/meet people event.I want everyone to understand this has nothing to do with the big cbrforum meet, I just thought it would be agood idea to spark interest for somethingthat might actually work for people in the MIDWEST.

Here is the Final Plan:May 16-18 Wisconsin Dells Ride

*Everyone who is staying theweekendwill meet@ The Wilderness Resort (511 East Adams Street Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin www.wildernessresort.com )on Fri.May 16th(sometime around 4pm) wewill gradually come together(proally at my reserved condo) and hang out/meet everybody and their bikes hahaha.

*Anyone who is riding up for the day will meet @ The Wilderness Resort parking lot on Sat. May 17th anytime before 11am (be on time because we will leave the parking lot @ 11am).

*We will allride the back roads to Devils Lake and take in the sights.

*Come back to the resort to swim and party all night long.

*At 11am Sunday the 18th everyone will say Goodbye or Until we meet again and then we will go our own ways.

Well I know alot of you didn'trespond but I think this is a good idea, and I think we can realistically set this up with little to no problems. Anyways I was thinking of trying to do this in the spring time so that if we get a good turn out we can set up another meet later in the summer.
And then after this summer when we are all more familiar with this it could turn into more of a regular thing that we could do every year.

I will think of some dates to throw out there and pick a location to meet, than I'll keep you guys updated so we can move this thing forward.

Spring will be here before you know it....

Im in Waukesha WI so Elkhart Lake Road America is very doeable for me. Otherwise we could all meet up in Milwaukee Somewhere. Maybe like state fair park. There is plenty of room for a ton of bikes there.

 

Well, I am in Shawano. I could do the Dells. Lots of fun stuff there.

I'm up in Elkart lake in early august for ALMS. That is a beautiful track. Anyone want to watch AMA there? I believe they let you take your bike out on the track for a touring session for some extra $. I would do it. I'd have to double check the schedule, but I'm reasonably certain it happens in July or June.

 

Milwaukee here and would love to go to a meet this next summer. All this talk is going to have me getting the bike
out in the 40 degree weather soon to come!

 

Either place sounds great, I'd imagine that the Dells would have some better roads for a group ride, but that's a guess. Anyone know of good twisties around either area? Elkheart would be cool to go along Lake Michigan too, it's also closer so I'd probably vote for Elkhart.
