Rode all afternoon today! Any of y'all get out too?

 

Was out from 4 to 10 riding various places.

 

Anyone going to Elkhart Lake for AMA superbike (June 4-7)? I'm planning on going Sat, although riding in would be weather permitting.

 

A handful of our group goes, some of them for 2-3 days. Probably play that one by ear. Got a lot of crap going on this summer, lol.

 

Anyone have plans for Automotion in Wisconsin Dells (May 16-17)?

 

You guys should just say "Hey Aken do you have plans for so-and-so?" I'm the only one who's responding, lol.

I'm booking a rental house for Automotion weekend, and spending it with a ton of friends. Been a yearly thing for six years now. I may meet up with some other CBR honkies while up there, depending on how things go.

Automotion? Never heard of it. I guess I need to be there...

 

Automotion is a classic car show held at Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells. It's a pretty popular weekend for auto enthusiasts. It's pretty tame now, but when they do the cruise up and down the strip, there used to be some insane burn outs and stuff.

Still a fun mini-vacation weekend.

 

Sounds decent. Our yearly trip the past two years has been to take the bikes on the Lake Express over to Muskegon. They have a thing they call "Bike Time" about the third weekend in July. They block off the streets in a six block section of downtown, with only bikes allowed to park up and down both sides of the boulevard, then all the bars and restaurants set up huge beer tents in their parking lots, and they've all got live bands.Theres usually a stunt show, and of course the Hill Climb. It's a three day superbash. The best part is that its not marketed completely towards the Harley crowd, so there are nearly as many Sportbikes as cruisers.
