the rear shock absorber is $1240 for ALL makes and models of the RR except the 900RR 1998-99 which are $815 ...

 

How much would springs and valves for an 08 600RR forks cost?

 

yeah, there are 3 separate numbers depending on the rate u want, 9.0, 9.5 or 10mm. Either way springs are $125.

I have to contact them directly to find out about valves since the only way for us dealers to get them is to order the entire Fork Piston Kit, which is the pistons, shims and valves.

 

I'll have to look up the spring rate I need. I want to rebuild my forks sometime in the next month or so. Was going to go Race Tech but if I can get a decent deal I'll try Ohlins. Thanks

 

Just heard back from Ohlins, the FPK kit (valves, pistons, shims) costs $340 retail, and I can sell it to you for $240. If you are going to get springs + FPK your total would be $125 + $240 = $365. We'll drop that to $350 as a combined purchase order.

 

That's a hell of a deal. Hope to pull the trigger on this soon.

 

Does Ohlins still make forks for a 99 CBR600F4. I would rather buy the entire fork but I am willing to go the springs + FPK route. How much would a steering dampener be? Thanks.

 

I'll have to check with them directly, but they don't list an FPK nor fork part for ur bike. They do have the steering damper for $450. The part is listed for a 99-02 CBR600F

Do u happen to remember/know the part# of ur forks? FGK _ _ _ or FGR _ _ _ or perhaps the size of the cartridge kit u have?
