Default Favorite Riding Boots?????

ok.... so sorry if this has been discussed before but Im going crazy trying to find some boots to wear while driving. I always run across the Icon womens boots with the giant heal. They are super cute but I DONT WEAR HEALS! hahaha I look like a horse walking in them so im afraid of what would happen while wearing them to drive. Right now Im just sporting the good ole New Balances and wanted to see if you ladies have found any thing a little better that doesnt look like a dude would be sporting them!

THANKS!

FWIW, I've heard those Hella boots are worthless for real riding- no traction.

I have some Harley-ish boots because they had a bit of a heel and I'm short- after breaking my leg in them I'm getting some real sportbike boots before I get back on.

I've seen those Icon boots and I really don't think it's possible to actually ride in them.
I have a pair of SIDI B2's and they're very comfortable. The only bad thing is that they have no vents at all, but that makes them awesome for cooler weather.

God, I love those Sidis! I want some >< How much of a heel height is there actually on them- looks like maybe half an inch?

Whatever you do, don't buy the TourMaster Solution WP boots. I've worn out my first pair already and it's only been 2 years. They're fine for a while, but the back lining ends up tearing and caving in on itself because they don't zip completely open. Every time I put them on, my heel has to slide down along the back lining and that's when the scrunching happens. Then I dance around in them until they feel right

For joy rides, I'm seriously considering the Sidi Jasmine Rain:

For racing, I'm saving up for the Sidi Vertigo Lei:

In general, it looks like Sidi makes quality boots that would last a while. I especially like how when you unzip them, it opens all the way down to the base, so you just open them wide and stick your foot in. Plus they're preeeeettyyyyyy.

LOL @ dancing around in them!

I really do love the Sidis, those Vertigo Leis are just hot.

It's about that. Maybe 3/4", but they're super easy to ride in.

I love my Stella MX-5 Alpinestars!! I've had them for over three years and will replace them in a couple of months because I have worn out the soles! This came from spending months on the riding range with them standing as well as riding for 6 hours a day. I also wore them for an 18 day cross-country trip and getting ready to wear them on my two week trip from Florida to Colorado and back. You can't go wrong with these boots!!
