Question New to riding

So, I've been on a bike a few occasions. I've rode my dad's '01 Suzuki Boulevarde on said occasions. Unfortunately, the only other bike we have laying around is a cbr1000rr and I've been wanting to get into riding sports bikes. I KNOWWWWW it's HIGHLY unrecommended anyone starts on one though. Any advice on learning on it that won't cost me too much money? I don't have the money to drop on another motorcycle (my cars are the money pits here &#128514 but I don't want to end up in the hospital either. Any advice is welcome!
