More likely, it will end up like the Dodge Tomahawk, one bike and 9 copies at $555,000 USD ea. But it won't be in the same class as the Tomahawk so most likely worth much less.

Now Honda with the Rune was a real production bike. I have no idea how many were made however. lol

It seams that bike and auto companies like to flex their mussels and produce some kind of weird thing to spike interest in their companies.

Those with rectoptolitis, meaning their optical nerve is fused to their rectum would be spared the cost of a rear view camera with that riding position.

The Rune wasn't a sportbike. It was more of a cruiser that had a Goldwing engine and about a square mile of chrome. I think each US dealer got a total of two bikes to sell, and I don't know if any were sold outside of the US. The went for about 25 large.

And don't forget that it was about the size of a small car. Honda built it just because they could.

Concept bikes that I have seen at bike shows usually don't make it to production. As a matter of fact, I have seen some that are non-functional.

The neat thing about the Honda Rune, is the single sided swing-arm and I think it incorporates a drive shaft too.

There's an old guy lives round the corner from me, he has some old Honda with the same technology, don't know what model it is though, it's just some little commuter bike
