The winter of my discontent
Sorry for falling off the edge of the earth there boys, but it has a been tumultuous winter for me to say the least.
The smell of new mown grass has seemed to have awakened me
What have I missed?
Edit: Sorry Mod, I thought I was in the Saloon

Well hey, thanks for the welcome backs
@ Teeks I got your note. Haven't listened to the Kiwi version of PHC yet. Search for Tom Bodet's "The End of the Road" It's the Alaska version of that
@ Kiwi Born, Up here you can ride mostly year round. Occasional snow but if you like cold, wet and miserable, you can do it as long as you don't ride a Harley. They only come out when it's nice. Like really feckin' loud mosquitoes. I harbor a deep and biding disdain for them.
@ Seb and Shadow. Good to be back. The old road dog is holding her own. Wish I had the bankroll to bring her back to glory, but she's still a sure and steady old mount. Cheerful in all weathers. Couldn't ask for more and don't think I shall. She's still my love as far as bikes go.
@ Hawk! Welcome to my corner of the world! Yessir, the weather has been fine lately. Hope you had a good time and sorry I didn't have the chance to see you. If you're still in the PNW, enjoy. I've tried but still cannot dream of living anywhere else. Cheers
BTW, Has Sprock managed to dig himself out yet? I hear they had a brutal winter back east

Good to see you dropping back in to say Hi Woof.
So; what's the goss? How's the employment situation? how's the Fiat etc.
I don't think you were the only one to start getting a bit p1ssed with the Northern Winter.
Apparently a camping and outdoor supplier up your way had to try and unload a whole lot of stock to try and prop up the cash flow.

Glad you found your way back Woofer! This winter has been a real one for sure.. Record snows and cold. I had only two ride opportunities above 40f without white stuff on the roads. Brother-in-law just relocated out to Spokane so hope to make some rides in your direction, down side is he's lookin at a Harley.

Beautiful part of the world though, Seattle and Vancouver are two of my favorite places when it comes to scenery!
Have always promised myself that one day I'll drive from San Francisco to Seattle (maybe when the kids are grown up), I'd ride, but the missus would never go for that.
Still a nice convertible, wind in your hair
