Who wished they never started?
So. Ok, I crashed the bike, I'll do a full restoration project. Fairings off and the fun starts, frame is good no cracks. But it's going to need shot blasting and painted, and some of the screws are not originals. And the water mark down the side of the engine is from the pipes to the rad, it will all clean, just can't see me getting ready for next season. So full restoration may take a little more time than I wanted. But I will have a really good ride at the end. Who else wishes they never removed the fairings to see the wonders under them? Or is it just me!

It's always a bit of a "surprise packet" under the fairings - so much crud can collect under them, but yes, I've had moments with my bikes over the years where I'd wished I hadn't started something....but with the Hurricane the level of assistance I've had here has made it so much easier - even if the help was only some encouragement from the guys here.
It's what makes this place so special...............and long may it continue.

Thanks guys. I need to get some storage first, then it's all coming apart for a rebuild, and a new colour scheme, thinking of Gun Metal Grey. And Gold, for breaks, forks and rear swing arm. So here is hoping it goes the way I want, there is a none standard paint scheme on at the minute. So time to bite the bullet and get on with it.
