What RU Drinking right now ?
This is a favourite of mine, I really like the Belgian monastery beers 6.6%
so not that strong by their standards, but very drinkable especially on a nice summer evening.

Crown Lager. No pic due to how many!
. A good mate came over yesterday and we got on it then went out this morning with the 12g and trap. Me, him and TYB busted up a heap of clays in the front paddock then plinked with the .22 for a bit.
Kinda thirsty so the remaining Crownies are going down really well!
Cheers lads!

If you guys like belgian beers, then you would propably like the traditional Finnish "beer" sahti. It has a somewhat similiar taste than that Leffe, although more citrucy, yeasty and... Sour would propably be the best word to describe it... I can drink Leffe, although not my favourites, but I cannot drink Sahti. It gives you the most vile, hideous, stomach churning hangover a man can endure and live to tell... Got a few of those younger, nowadays I rather not drink than drink that. It's very sneaky stuff too, when you drink it you don't realise it's usually VERY strong because you don't taste the alcohol, then WHAM, you're on all fours trying to keep the floor from falling over...
Belgium white ale is my favorite kind. Unfortunately half the beers y'al are posting I've never seen over here in the states. A few of them look mighty tasty though. That monk beer in particular I'd like to try.
Is it a stretch to say that beer is much more popular than spirits in the EU? It appears that way. There's been a pretty decent movement back to the cocktail here in the states which is good by me. I can only handle so many beers before I feel like I'm going to pop.

Yeuk! Sorry, but that stuff just isn't beer to me. Does the job, but tastes like crap.
I'll now stand back and await the abuse

Some like mothers, some like daugthers... Munchener-type strong tastin lagers are "my thing" but I tend to vary the palette so I don`t get bored to anything... Gotta admit they are like horse ****... goes better when it`s searing hot out, but at wintertime... better go get that Midnight sun waiting in the fridge...
