Well, what would YOU do??
Picture this:
A lazy day trolling through the Gumtree (similar to Craiglist) ads after breakfast and you notice a fairly good condition dinosaur bike only 40 kms from your house.
Info tucked away in your head starting to fire a few neurons of interest and lust.
The next day you're waiting to see the Doctor and in amongst the magazines is a 1984 Two Wheels with the SAME bike pictured on the cover, calling it the "Mightiest Bike".
You decide to ring the guy - Just to have a look but the number doesn't connect. His advert says NO EMAILS but you try anyway, and he responds within minutes with a slightly different number to call him on.
You ring and book a time to see the bike now armed with the knowledge that no-one else will get through on the 'advertised' number.
You look at the bike - it's a humdinger - and he further volunteers that he is moving tomorrow. Hmmmmm. He needs to get rid of the bike and you know it.
You offer a ridiculously small amount.
The living dinosaur. 1985 Suzuki GSX1100 EFE. 135 hp, wicked handling (as it will try to eat you alive), and just prior to the plastic 'crotch rocket' GSX-R revolution.
I love it! Took it for a ride this afternoon and it does need a small amount of work, but it is value for money
Cheers, SB

Define "shed" - lol
If you pack them in there really tight - then she can't get in to do a
bike count now can she - but you'll prolly need a few more to be able to
do that - well - properly that is !
Do it Seb - we got your back - right Robster

Speaking if the best way to "bring it aboard as it were"
Well all I can say is UC (undercover) does not always work best.
When I went to get the KLR last trip out , twas a nice mid Friday
morning adventure - came home backed up to the "shed" (lol)
rolled the bike off - "hey all set no problem", stealthily acquired
& sneaky f&%k mode worked or so I thought.
Until.........
Later that evening at the dinner table youngest child inquires as
to how the new red dirt bike is ? .......... bloody hell !
My place backs up on the school playground - never thought to look
over there - the kids were out in the yard on recess
So totally busted - the wife danced on that one for a couple of days
Now she has a new Honda CRV - jeez - next time I'm coming clean
