Exclamation Well this is unusual for Maine

We just had a 4.6 lil' ole Earth Quake here about twenty mins ago.

For real !

But Keep Calm - no beer was spilled & the bikes are all still upright !

Thought I was back in San Fran in Sept 2000 for a min

Ride the wave! (just like I did in the SF Bay Area in 1989)

I can imagine it would be scary for people that don't experience them too often. I grew up in NorCal, so earthquakes never bothered me. When the '89 quake hit, I was at the GF's house and we went outside and saw water from her neighbors swimming pool clearing a 6 foot fence! If I had to choose, I'd take earthquakes over tornadoes or hurricanes any day of the week...

Not unusual here in RSA but must've been a bit unnerving for Maine, Sprock.
Just so long as the lobsters are fine, it's all good

4.6?

Wouldn't even rate a mention in NZ mate.

They don't call us the Shaky Isles for nothing.

They're saying 4.0 now. That wouldn't even wake us up, but a little rain and its the apocalypse here.

But for Maine, that's gotta be a new feeling for most of you. Glad the place held up.

The real story is Sprock started all the canes at once, or was that just a cover story for falling down the steps at the bar?

Not like it was a big deal here either at any rate just like thread title
suggested
- very unusual for this part of the big marble ! but it had
devastating effect
- I now have to stack my bottled inventory on the
floor - just in case the Mayans were correct

Lobsters are all gone Pete they ran for Canadian Waters
nothing but cans of Tuna from now on

Always a cover story Jimbo
