Believe it or not I got sunburned out in the yard yesterday taking the plow off the
garden tractor and putting the mower deck back on with new blades and belts.

Hey Sprock,
I see in your location that you are on Boon Island. I'm guessing that's not where you really reside. If so, you have a very low mileage bike. :-) I used to live in Brunswick. I loved my time in the state. Where exactly up there do you live?

6:00 am, +17c. Yesterday high around +30c and today's not gonna stay far behind, not a cloud in the sky and only very light wind. Saw a few lightnings in the horizon last night but it went around us by some 20km. What makes this strange is it's May! Usually we don't get these kind of temps till july if even then! Makes me thankful I got AC on my truck, pulling around 10 trolleys full of mats on boad à 400kg gets me reaching for the mineral water bottle...

Middle of Montana, high fifties or low sixties (F) and occasional showers. Headed for the 70's by this weekend. Beautiful weather. 35 years ago when we moved here we had 18 to 24 inches of snow each Memorial Day three years in a row. Haven't seen that since.

Where did the summer go?! 6am, +6c and gusty wind high enough to bang the draft flap in the cooker hood flue.

That's not cool Matt (no pun intended), sleet in June is not funny!

Weather here has been good so far this summer, not too much rain, temps are 18-20C which is very pleasant to ride in.

Don't like it too hot or too cold, just call me Goldilocks

All melted now but got in two sleet storms today with strong enough winds to rock the lorry in motorway. The frigid north wind is pushing cold air down from Iceland ATM messing every possible weather pattern, the weatherman said straight in TV it`s impossible to make forecasts longer than 24h right now and even then they are guessing half. It`s just that we are celebrating Juhannus, or midsummer eve here next weekend, have friday off and have BBQ and riding planned for the whole weekend so it would be nice to have fair weather... Right now it`s the same to toss a coin than watch the forecasts.

This is from last night around 11pm. I`ll tell you, some weird stuff happening up there...

We had more rainfall here from Feb to the beginning of May than any period from Feb to July since records have been kept. Most of that in Feb. A major contributor to the landslide that killed 41 people here that month.

A promising May has descended into the typical "June Gloom" we often experience in these parts. That translates into Low 50's (10c) with frequent rain showers.

You have to judge your weather window in order not get caught out, but it's mild enough for the most part.

I'm not complaining

EDIT: A quick look at the 10-day forecast has proven that I could be a TV Weatherman!

mid 90's for the next few weeks at least.
I miss snow.
I'd rather be cold than hot any day.
