That's absolutely right! They could sell a ton if they weren't so stylistically challenged. I can just imagine what those designers look like! Sheesh.

I remember years ago when a MC rag had a write up on ridding across a desert in the worst heat. They soaked a snowmobile suit in water and started riding. They said that they could control how hot or cool the rider was by how much they unzipped the suit. In the end the rider had to zip the suit way up as he was getting to cold.

That goofy gizmo on the back of the bike looks stupid and you would only use it maybe for 2 hours on one day of the year. I would much rather turn heads by wearing a snowmobile suit in the heat of the summer and getting off and saying to someone," OMG! It's cold out, don't you think?"

You could mount the aircon unit in a back box, and shove the hose in your pants - that'd give you frosty nuts for sure !
I like the freezer suit - I spoke to some Aussies, and they suggested
1 Remove jacket
2 Wet shirt under garden hose/bucket/etc
3 Replace jacket
It's said that you'll be dry in about 70 miles and would have to do it again, but you'll be good to go for that long.
Given the temps in Aussie, I believe them......

That's a cool idea with the wetted shirt, Pete. (no pun intended).

Ya know, it would be even better if you stuck it in the freezer till it had a nice frost on it...

Where's that Maine marshmallow that likes to perv lady riders with wet tee shirts.......
hehe We grow boys into men in Pinetown, Mainers do it the other way round - make men into boys......and the ******** machine is just another example

Funny thing is short of welding it to the frame, it'd be stolen the first time you left your bike alone for 10 minutes.

I can see some crackhead in North Philly carrying it and a 12v battery to stay cool while smoking up on the street corner
