Post Vid : Cam/GPS mount update

FLIPSHARE VID LINK

Well the right Tank mount arrived.........three included tank hex screws
and rubber washers and it was mounted. Before mounting I had to
change and elevate the upper mount plate as it angled down too much
towards the speedometer (and we can't have that now can we ) mph

So here it is with both GPS and Cam on at same time......obviously
I do not intend to run both at the same time but could if I needed.
My Flip Camera as you can see needed to be mounted on a 2 1/2 "
x1/4' bolt to gain enough height to look out over the gauges for vid's
out on the road........T'aint perfected yet but I'm getting there. Test run
for Video tomorrow morning

BTW I have a second Flip HD camera so that's how there's a vid of the vid
camera ...........a vid a vid if you will LOL

I like it! Wish I had that setup last week for my ride from Cincinnati to Montreal. I put the GPS in the clear map pocket of the tank bag (hey, it's an electronic map). I have no place to mount a camera but it would have been cool for Vermont Rt 100 and NY 9N and 86. Nice job Mr. Sprock!

Oh yeah been on VT 100 myself Beeee uu tiful ride. There's quite a few
Tank mount GPS/Cam options on ebay...s'where I got this.

Other thing that's nice is there's still room for the tank bag .....well some tanks bags

keeping the speedo out of the picture is a good idea too.. ..well done !!
cant wait to see a few vids now Mark ...
That's the plan Steve, getting up early before all the Tourists hit the beach
and plan to try her out by riding over to the Nubble Lighthouse. Prolly have
to tweak it a bit .....I think the camera might be pointin' a bit skyward so
I might have to put her up higher and point her down a bit to the road.
We'll see......stay tuned

Oh and not that I'm promoting one source over another but this Guy
Barna Sooki is a stand up Guy to deal with make sure you tell him
it's for a CBR1000F.

Talking So what y'all think of my video test run

TOOK A TEST RUN ............I'M PRETTY FRIGGIN' HAPPY WITH IT

EXCUSE THE FEW CUSSES WHEN THE 19 year old girl pulled out in
front of me ..........but got her to my rear post haste.

This was through York Village where I live and down RT 103 and
around by the bridge back almost to my place

Sound was good you can hear me talking to the Dude fishing off the bridge.

Let me know what you think

Sprock

Only thing I have to do is firm up the bolt the Camera sits on.
Prolly do that with a sleeve 3 washers and a couple of nuts.

Steve just in from some good times with old friends.

Yeah I plan on a few vid's of Highway Runs and some other neat 'to be seen stuff"
around here.........might be time a BIke Cam Vid sticky in the Saloon.

There were two right good looking "Shielas" that got out af a "Red Bull" promo
car (new mini with a Red Bull Can built into the body) this afternoon on my
way over to a friends house. I was cursing I was not on the bike at the time
cuz I know I could have had a good vid with them sitting on the 'Cane.......
They were two fun girls let me tell ya ..............hotter than hot ....knock outs !

Let's try something next. How about taping a cotton ball over the mic to take the wind sound out? All the other sounds should come in while muffling the wind.

Maybe stretch it some and tape it on both side.

There is nothing you can do to quiet a HD with open pipes.
