Default V12 cbr

Just been on the VMax forum site and there is a utube vid of a CBX with conjoined motor in the form of a V12 sounds AWESOME some people have the time and inclination and I guess inspiration to do some really amazing things when it comes to engineering.

A couple of years ago a sprint car racer here in NZ built a 2 litre V8 for his flat track sprint car using two ZXR1000 barrel and top end assemblies on a custom crankcase. Made great horsepower and cleaned up the local circuit, took it to the good ole US of A where it ran real competitive so much so that they outlawed it cos it wasnt based on a dinosaur as their motors were so he was not able to race.

Sorry that I am a luddite orI would be able to put up a link so you could see the V12 and hear it running.Maybe someone a bit more capable would be so kind to do that.

Faaaark, what an excellent idea.

But nobody needs two V12's JK.

Just stick with the one you've got; but there are some damn clever people out there aren't there?

If the fuel consumption is really an issue, you should maybe get rid of the current one.

Perhaps you have a younger brother that maybe quite like it?

Just a thought.

I love crazy builds, but some are just ridiculous.

I was just reading about an '86 CRX HF with a V8 and RWD. That must have been a job. lol..

A bit like this thing. The Cardrona Race to the Sky used to happen just up the road from where I live. Outrageous overpowered 4wds, rally cars, and bikes of all description.

So your 1000cc Gixxer powered quad bike isn't quite fast enough? Lets smack a turbo on it, that should do the trick.
