Steve,

I have followed this thread with a few tears in my eyes, we have all gone through the pain you feel.

A few years ago my 2 loved Alaskan malamutes died within 6 months of each other.

It hurts

I'm late with this post, but never to say I'm gutted for your loss mate, I hope the new addition to your family has softened your pain.
And about this forum being like family... though being a freshman over here, I can find myself in that; this is actually only one of two forums I frequent (more specific... the CBR1000F sub forum rather than CBRforum.com!) and I already feel right at home (the other forum I frequent is car related, TurboBricks, but no binding with the other users).

Sorry to hear of your loss. I understand what u are going through. I had a white german shepard for 14 years. She died 5 years ago. I still miss her.
We had alot of good times together as I am sure you did to.

I am sorry to hear your loss man, I lost one of my dogs last year it is hard, but life goes on and she is happy and pain free now. We have her in a urn with a nice picture of her in front of it, and when her brother goes he will join her(we already have a picture of both of them). Also we now spoil her brother rotten, I mean we litterally treat him like a kid. Its funny how dogs can impact our lives so much. Take care mate
