Default Thunder in the Valley 2009

Howdy all.
Figured I'd throw up a few pics from the MC Rally in Johnstown, PA (June 25-28) .
There were a ton of bikes. Most were cruisers, but there were a bunch of sportbikes and many CBRs. I even saw a really nice red/black 'Cane parked at the convention center (anyone?).

I was riding with some Harley goofballs, so I had to smoke them a few times. I'd run ahead....have a coke and a smoke... and repeat.

It was really a beautiful day, and a nice ride. I think one website said there were around 100k bikes. Every street was packed. There were some really sweet choppers, too, if you're into that.... (swisher?)
The whole ride was about 260ish miles. All sunshine.

Worst part was stopping at the Harley dealership for almost an hour while my riding buddies bought overpriced t-shirts..
I kept myself busy hassling the dealer employees by repeatedly asking where the Honda section was..

Well thanks, steve.....

It was pretty cool seeing so many bikes in this town. It was every street and lot within walking distance. I just wish I would have taken a few more pics of CBRs and such. The third pic is kinda neat, though, because it shows the big inclined plane in the background....
I live about 110miles southeast of here.

Nice one Dylan, I could imagine what that sounded like when they all started up, hence the name I presume.

Spot on, I think I'd have one of them for a cruiser.

Sprock, the Rocket is listed as averaging 33-36mpg in one review (hey, that's about what I get on my 'Cane...), while another is saying highway is around 40mpg.

Mo, yep... that's the thunder! The town has a really nice square with a courtyard where they had a band, vendors, and food. The whole time, you could feel the bikes...
That Rocket is definately cool lookin'. I wonder how it runs?

Not enough throttle, maybe??

I'll try more throttle and report back with the results...
