September 2009 ROTM Winner - Faster than a Speeding ..........

So took the bike for it's MOT yesterday and She failed on the rear wheel bearings and the front brakes were dragging slightly.
Had the rear bearings to hand so changed them straight away and set about the front callipers . Stripped 'em down , cleaned them up and thought I'd change all the seals and rubber boots while I was at it , so ripped the boots out and one of them came apart .
Went down to WE.Moto to get all the new bits and they don't have the longer of the two boots untill next week!!! Dave Silver doesn't even have them listed ,so she's laid-up in the garage with no brakes untill I can get the right bits for her
.Thought I was gonna get her down there today , so she'd be ready for any sun shine 
Was so distressed I had to distract myself by fitting a radiator in the kitchen , which turned into a pig of a job as well!!
Not back to work untill Thursday , what a waste of time

is it a problem to run her with the MOT out ? is it out of date ?

The MOT is only a problem if you get caught
