Soft leather
Marky Mark, I use some stuff called Obenauf's oil. You get it in a saddle shop or a true leather shop. If you have a place that sells horse stuff like saddles, bridles, boots and that type of stuff, they can point you in the right direction. Obenauf's oil is the best by far. It even softens old plumber's hands, but don't let Classic know. Peck, Idaho, USA is where this stuff is made. By an oil not a paste. Leather oil is what you want to use. It soaks into the leather. I even use it to make my leather gloves soft again. Otherwise, over time gloves harden and crack. Use it before you go out in the rain (a few days before) and the rain repells off the gloves. Good stuff. Good leather oil is what you need. Horse people know what to use and living in the desert requires a good skin softener, like leather "skin" oil....

One other option
Marky Mark, one other option is to bring your leathers to an old Eskimo woman. They use to gum it with worn out teeth to soften the leather. Or you can have old Classic stomp on it and use a plumber's wrench on it. I have heard that, that may work, but I heard that from the little voice in my head and he is a fricking liar at times!

I got onto "Oakwood Leather Conditioner" a few years ago when I got my leather jacket out again after a long break. It was stiff and dry and I thought it was rooted. Dude in a leather shop sold me this stuff and it works a treat. Warm the leathers up in the sun first, daub a heap on, and leave in the sun again. This is an Australian product so I don't know if it's available over there.

Aussie ville and what is available
I will tell you what is available in Aussie ville. A wild hair dude named Classic. That should scare the heck out of most riders, but those of us who know him, think of him as a big fuzzy bear with a wild hair dooooo....
That and if you don't like it, he will put a plumber's wrench to your N.utts and give it a good twist... Got to love our Stevie boy...
