Turn on the smilies in your personal page.............??
Posting Rules
BB code is On
Smilies are On
[IMG] code is On
HTML code is Off
All seems in order ?
But what do I know.............................!
Look at the bottom of the page when you next send a message - there's a box there that disables smilies..........maybe needs to be changed.

set it ti use the wysiwyg full advanced editor ..
When you go to post , make sure you are in " advanced mode " then you should see some smilies on your right of the post or edit box ... at the bottom of the smilies window you will see a small link that's says " more " hit it and all the hundreds of smilies will load in a new window for you to pick from ...

BTW- when editing an existing post , you need to hit the " go advanced " button the open the full optioned editor ... :-)
