Trout mentioned he shoots as do I, cuz living in ME it's a way of life. Not to mention the fact my heritage and experiences as a kid pretty much dictated it.

Anyone else ?

What tools ya use ?

My go to is also the G21. Not the SF, just a 3rd gen. You just can't beat the G21 overall, IMHO. 14rnds of .45ACP? Can't argue with that.... I know I wouldn't..
I've put thousands and thousands of rounds through mine. Not one failure of any kind. It eats the cheapest crap I throw at it... even my reloads..
It just sucks it all down. And accurate, too, for an auto.

I used to carry it all the time in a shoulder rig, with 2 hi-caps on the weak side. Just got to be too much..
Then I fell in love with the S&W M&P9 for carry IWB. It's a hell of a gun, really, runs like a top... However, the Ruger LCP .380 can't be beat for concealability. You forget it's even there. Slips right in your pocket.

I swore I would never be without my G21, but dam... it's just so easy to carry a little .380ACP.

I'm very interested in seeing that BM in .450... Very nice..
(I've always liked cool stuff like that..)
The SF models are nice, too. Great idea, really..

Gotta love the 'ole WWB (Winchester White Box). Where do you think I got all my cases for reloading? lol..

Yep, I've been reloading all my .45ACP. It's something like $9/100 to reload. Pretty cheap, and I've gotten fast at it. With my progressive, I can do about 200 rnds per hr.
I was just shooting soooo dam much it was getting rediculously expensive.

I've been loading mostly .223 now, though, for the ARs. I think it costs me $17/100 on those, but it's so much more powder.
Using bullseye in the .45 takes like 4gr, whereas TAC powder behind a FMJBT .223 takes 6X that much, at about 24gr.
I bought 2,000 empty military cases to start with....and it was a PITA...but now I have ammo cans full of shiny new ammo.
I bought some 55gr tracer bullets a couple weeks ago, too, and I can't wait to try 'em out. They were pulled military bullets for like $4/100 or some crazy chit. Had to try 'em..

WOOOOO EEEEEEE

Gues next time I'm up in Cabela's in Scarborough ME I'll be a checking
out the reloading gear. Kittery Trading Post about 5 miles from here or
a 45 second ride has stuff but tends to be bit more expensive.

Going grab the keys for my safe (kid safety) and shoot a few pic's in a
minute

Post Pics

Well here's a few

have a modded (223)mag for the 450, can squeeze 12 in there.

Stock hunting mag is (5 legal) but the big mag is handy for range work.

The 450 round is $$$$ 2 dozen $29 so might look around for a set of dies and start to reload these anyhow.

Oiled em up real quick while I had them out.

Thinking of ordering a 556/223 upper from Del Ton for it soon
Enjoy

And oh yeah it's a full 20" not a carbine like yours but when I order
the new upper I'll go with a carbine (16")

My seeing eye is wicked on this it's a 40x .....could pick a pimple
off a gnats *** with it

Nice!

Yep, if you're gonna do any shooting at all with that .450, it would probably be well worth it to consider loading at those prices. Maybe a nice little single stage press set up strictly for the .450. I'm not sure how much projectiles (bullets themselves) cost for that gun, but I would think it would be a good bit cheaper to reload....

That .450 looks a lot like the predator. I almost got one of those in .223. Sweet gun for sure.

40X is definately enough for a longshot.
I have a 4-12x50 on the M4 right now, and I have an 8" steel that I like to quick shot at. I pity the varmint that comes within 150yrds of me with that M4. They have no chance.
