Do it, do it, do it!

Just had along talk with a guy on an '85 V-65 Sabre.

Love the power and the way it's delivered on those V-4's. Though i had a pair of the V-30's Those little 500's were like 125 cc dirt bikes. 12,500 redline and nothing happened below 10k. The 1000's are big fun and surprisingly nimble compared to a 1kF.

do it.

Tell me about it - I've watched a utube on one about 20 times today - that whole V4
tone just sends chills up my spine

hmm may have to bang a personal day tomorrow

Only thing is I'd put stock pipes back on it

Well there you have it Sprock

Consensus from the knowledgeable - and slightly jealous - fraternity.

And that V4 sound is so very sweet - and woody inducing.

We have - when we are home - a VFR750 with gear driven cams who rides past twice a day. The sound excites me EVERY time I hear it.

I have been keeping a weather eye open for a 1994/95 in red and good condition for a goodly while, but we keep on tripping off and I have yet to realise that dream.

One day.

Post pictures and a video of it running if it passes into your ownership!

Cheers, SB

Sprok,

If you are not going to have it, ask the guy if he can wrap it and send it over the the UK. I'll even pay postage.

That is one beautiful bike and I've wanted one of those for so many years now.

I am sooooooo jealous.

You just had to...

Took a quick peek into nettimoto, couldn't find them at first cause they Seem to follow the name VF1000F2 here... they're about the same as my cbr, only a few years older... as I've said in the past I'm a bit indecisive about what to do with my F2 because of the daytona and am now heavily considering about a swap to one of those... like now! That would make a kicka$$ cafe and would be more gentle to my wrists...

1000cc V4... schwinnng!

EDIT: decision made. As soon as the new parts arrive the cbr's gonna be listed for sale, gonna put a ridiculous overprice on it, if it goes it goes.

EDIT 2: The F2 seems to be known around the world as the "Bol d'Or", and there's one VERY promising specimen in Lahti just ~30km from me... very, very tempting...
