Default Shes home

Money exchanged hands and we battled 150 miles through rain and wind (with a squared off and bald down the middle front tire!!) and I enjoyed every second of it finally I've got Hurricane back in my garage.
Result
New front tire, change brake fluid, fix a minor blow on the can or change them and she's back to good health.
Ill sell the wing rack, panniers and top box, it detracts from her beauty.

She looks great. Looks like polished wheels.

I wouldn't get rid of the wing rack. Pull it off and put it away. Only takes a few minutes to put it back on in case you want to take a long overnight ride. I have to agree, my wing rack is ugly but I do camp off the bike often.

Looks real nice! I may buy them if you decide to get rid of them.

Not polished they have red inners going to silver, I'm not sure if its paint or powder coat.
I'm going for BT023, its got an 020 rear with plenty of life. The shot front is a 56 I reckon its the original tire.

she's the double of my "F" ;(

personally, i hated anything BT on the "F". they couldn't handle change, dust on road, a man hole or a light shower or puddle. terribly twitchy.
not to be sneezed at on a big gurl. bit like a thong on a fat-burd,, 'no resistance'

angels were pretty good but squared too easy at 2,500m,,
but the best was Mich 2ct. grip for everything, and every condition. and 5,500m before a edge showed on the 8k lifespan.

just my opinion like.

That's my personal all time favourite colour for the MK3.

She looks the biz, I can understand your excitement!

Thanks guys yup shes a bute - guy at Tire shop also said bin bothe Bridgestones so shes having the Avons - then hopefully some break in the weather to go play.
I have a Versys with luggage so the Hurricane will lose the wing rack and boxes and be put back so I can see her in her glory.
Once Ive got them off Ill post soem pics and maybe sort a sell/exchange for other stuff - top box is in mint condition paniers look a wee scruffy but are perfect construction wise
