TB, that's really technical and probably right but as many have said, this is a French car.
You're all missing the obvious. It needs another affair.
I don't know what sex your car is Steve. Perhaps you've had the chance to peek under the rear end. I'm sure a little extra va-va-voom would spice up the performance no end.
Stop wasting your money at Garages and accessory stores. Hire an escort, or just buy one, though I am in no way recommending anything to do with Ford. The scenic may yet become more scenic!

I just remembered my father inlaw had me driving his Senic a few months back
...ya push a button for the parking brake , insert a "card" and press a button just to
start this french creation.. it was the nearest thing to driving an Amana double door
refrigerator now that I come to think of it ....... gave it back to him in favor of a
VW transporter diesel van and then gave that back to my cousin in favor of a
Merc 500 amg an old buddy of mine has ...lol ... the last one being the absolute **** !

AMG stand for Ah My God its outta juice again! Beautifully engineered and built cars though. You can afford to run vehicles like that in the US Henry as they pay about as much for a gallon of fuel as we do for a litre.
Sorry Henry, just noticed u r UK based so you would pay more again!

Yeah Jarvid,
you nailed it. Hence my assumption that Sprockster has struck oil for the sole use of the German power station on wheels.
Petrol is so expensive here now that even the rick can't afford it.
AMG's are going for a song. Strangely a new Bently is still rather expensive and the factory can't produce enough units to keep up with demand.
Mind you, given the choice I know which I'd rather be driving if I'd struck oil, and it wouldn't be the German.
I think we need a pic of Sprock at the wheel. C'mon Mark, flash the bling will ya!

Only reason I got to use the AMG was after the wake we were at nobody could stand up or
even walk straight out of the place (except for the Big Fella )......... so I ended up being
the Transporter

next day was ......... " how the **** did he let you take the Merc ? " ..... he never lets
anyone ..........never ......

Did ya know you can do 65 + in reverse in one of those babies

Sorry lads .... no one thought to snap a pic but me dear old Mum
thought I had hit the lorryerey lol

Ha! I've seen wires and coils do it, but not a plug. Figured it wasn't a head gasket, but...

Glad to hear it's sorted!... and a relatively easy fix!
