Miles per gallon but petrol in litres!!
Cant sell tomatos in pounds and ounces it has to be kilos and grams but all the road signs are in miles!!

Oh, yeah, and then you have the imperial gallon...
I really hate our system. What's funny is that we use depth tapes at work that are in feet, but not inches.... It uses tenths of a foot???

10.5ft is 10ft 6in. (and that's an easy one..)I use the metric system all day long, though. I particularly like the fact that mg/l is the same as ppm. Awesome!

Yer , using a mix of both is dam weird alright ...must drive yus crazzy!!
We get allot of TV from the USA , and I tell yu what , watching the DIY home reno shows make me think you guys are from another planet ....ft and inches all the time ????
I would not know a foot or an inch if I tripped over it...
We have been all metric for soooooooo long now here in Aus ,that the old imperial stuff even sounds like sumthin out of the dark ages ..
