Sebastionbear meet Naga-Thai..................
Naga-Thai meet Sebastionbear.................
After meeting Naga in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago and learning so much more about my bike than I thought possible, it was Naga's turn to travel the 1400 km round trip to Adelaide so we arranged a catch up in the slightly wet but beautiful Adelaide Hills.
Naga also happened to transport a 1991 CBR1000F chassis and seat from Melbourne that I had bought.
The plan was to teach me how to use the CarbTune on my bike. The final bit of the tuning tissy up of the CBR1000F after the stick coil mod. Can you imagine my unbridled astonishment at the sight of the carbs being out by 2cm of mercury between carb 2 and the worst. 10 minutes of twirling screw drivers gently had all 4 carbs balanced beautifully. This certainly shows how a little bit of mentoring goes a long way! The benefit of getting someone who has done it to show you actually beats a How To hands down.
Then we may have had a Strongbow Cider before investigating a few South Australian Reds.
Dinner was half a sheep with lots of vegetables.
Cooked to perfection
What a meal, good company, good wine, good music, good conversation and my beautiful partner..............
Vivá la CBR1000F
Cheers, SB

Great Pics and good times - ah great stuff -
Putting faces to names here is always cool
in my opinion given the distances we all
live apart..........& oooouuuueee that lamb
is doing my bloody head in.
Cider - one of my other favorite bevvy s
(but we all have a few of those )
BTW - I must agree you are a fortunate
man indeed - testimony to this fact can
be seen by the company being
kept in those photo's !
Now you are bloody well shaming me into
whipping out the Carbtune pronto
