Power Pure ....few PICS of the rear
here's a few pics per a request from a good Bud.
Fronts out in garage and it's monsoon rain outside .....sorry man
The profile looks great when leaning the tire .......contact patch .....enormous.
These will not wear as long as a PR2 .......I'd say a 6k miles tops but ya could
smoke 'em earlier .......imo
Can't wait to get them on ..........out shoppin' fleebay for some motion pro tire irons
and a bag of Dyna Beads ......these tires have no sidewall spot's !.....think I know why !!
Kevlar carcass does not appear to overlap like a steel belt hence almost zero seam & no heavy spot .....s'wot I think !!

Wow ...nice tires Mark ... me my CBR and our local mountain could definitely have some fun on those babies ...!!!
Hmmm... wonder how they will ride and feel once the center flattens out with a bit of wear ... they sure have a great racing profile ...
cant wait till yu wear the buggers out(sorry) ...but ...then we get ALL the guff on them from how they lasted , to how they handled right through there life ...
nice though ...
are you going to fit them yu self Mark ...??? may I ask how many tires you have ever fitted to a 1000F ??

a fear of tires ........ not really
SHORT ANSWER ........... ZERO on the CBR that is ..........everything else
all the time..........doesn't cost me a second thought about doing it either.
Required tools three MP tire irons, 3 HDPE strips to serve as rim protectors
a valve extractor and of course my garage compressor and Dyna Beads
one 4 x 2 home made bead breaker and a large bottle of kiddie Bubbles
to slide the new tire bead on with and a heater to keep the rubber warm and
soft to work with depending on the weather
Of course I have a little clamp to pinch the both beads into the rim "valley"
when poppin' over the final bead up top.
have a table that I can bolt the entire wheel onto
They charge like 125 bucks around here to do it ........**** that .........
That's the price of the front tire right there
A six pack , some tunes (Vega 91.5 ) and a relaxed don't rush it attitude
and since Paddys Day cometh ........ second six pack & plenty o' the blarney
Maybe a youtube so you can hope to watch me **** up a nice new tire
and my rims ..........won't happen
BTW .........these were not purchased with a view to use for touring or commuting
on, so really I'm not looking for more than really 5k miles out of 'em - more for
going out for fun twisty stuff and shorter hops up the winding mountain roads
cross country in Maine , Vermont & New Hampshire
Pete these come between the PP2CT and the Power One ....not quite fully fledged
but as close as you can get with a dual compound......we'll see how long they go......
I'll stick with the trojan magnums.... LOL..

Wow ... good luck Mark ...I love a man with that much confidence mate ...
I tried to do my rear a while ago .... hmmmm .... I gave up after 15 min trying to break the bead with clamps , levers , rubber mallet ...and then all of them simultaneously LOL
Then I cracked the chits and took it to the shop near by that normally does them ..
