I like the darker blue, but that's just me. I've always liked subtle ghost flames.

You're a hell of sprayer, tho. Looks dam good.

No, I don't do it professionally, but, I have done 4 radiator covers, a nitrous bottle, strut tower covers, a plenum cover and a few other odds and ends for friends.

They aren't really "ghost" flames though. I have done ghost flames.. I'll pot a pic. Let me get off my phone and grab my computer.

 

Nice work! When I first opened the post I missed the 'before' above the first pic. I thought "better not reply to this one!" and was relieved when I scrolled down.

As to more or less white, go with what you and your other half like! With good quality work like that almost anything would look great. You could definately earn some beer money doing that on the side.
