Been home all week since Monday have'nt been able to get out for a ride weather been that miserable and there is only so much polishing you can do.Anyway just off now on another trip this time to France only a short one this time max 5 days I hope. Geep well and as we say here "keep her lit".

Sucks about the weather, though.... It'll get better.
I got done cleaning up my chain yesterdy and changing the oil....started the bike... and the rain came.
It was like it was just waiting for me.
I went out anyway, and it cleared up to dry roads in a few minutes. Had a good ride.

As for PB Blaster, I have several cans of that stuff, too. Great penetrating lube. Great stuff.

As far as a rust preventative.... I've found that "Eezox" can't be beat. I use it on all my guns and tools. Since I started using it a few years ago, I will never use anything else. Seriously, it's that good. I used to get little rust specks on my carry piece (LCP) because it's in my jeans pocket all the time. I rubbed Eezox into it once, and it completely solved my problem.
You can find some cool rust tests online. I didn't believe them, so I rubbed some on a piece of sheet steel and left it on my porch in the weather for about 4 weeks with no rust. I would have watched it for longer but it disappeared. Not sure if the kid dragged it off or if the wife threw it away...lol..
