bad.......***!
That's great, mo. First, I clicked on 1976 to make sure that foghat was represented with slow ride....and they were... so then it was back to '69 for the Beatles "here comes the sun".
I wasn't disappointed.
That's just a great addition to the saloon.

Mo, that is great! Brang me back in time. Had to check out 1975. Yep, #3 was Pink Floyd - Wish you were here. I was on the DMZ in Korea that year and lost a friend to an APC roll over. He wasn't in it, he was unfortunately downhill from it. Use to call him "Old Man" because his soul was old. Great song, good memories of a wonderful friend. Thanks Mo....
P.S. Beautiful day outside today. Think I will hook up with JD, sit on a lounge chair next to my dog's grave and have a good cry....

I LOVE the new jukebox - thanks Mo
Joe, sad to lose a friend, and your dog.
I've been there - have a JD and remember the good times, Brother !

Shadow, its my dog I miss. Old man is long gone (I do miss him but the wound has healed after 34 years). Lost my dog the other month, now there is no one to look at me, **** his head sideways and seem to say, "What the frick are you staring at bubba!" That was my Great Dane, Zeus..... 9 years of faithful listening..... Never judged, never said "why you wearing that chit?" When I dropped a rock on my foot while building the rock fence, Zeus just looked at me and seemed to say, "Pus,sy, suck it up!" But when the coyotes jumped the fence into our yard, Zeus (all 150 plus pounds) was the first one into battle. Old John Wayne looked like a coward compared to that big old dog! 40 mph into a pack of coyotes and slammed them into a full retreat on their part!!
After the **** kicking, he would just sit down beside me, take a slurp of my JD and look at me like "What? What? Haven't you seen a good **** kicking before!"
He could put his paws on my shoulders (I am 6 foot tall) and look over my head! One tuff Hombre!!! I miss him the most of all the dogs I have had in my life (about 15 of them). His grave has a statue of a boy in overalls kneeling with his hand on his dog. Has solar lights round it for night time and is lined with crystal rocks. He was a diamond in the ruff.... of life...
The song by Pink Floyd brought on good memories and I miss all who have gone before me!
P.S. Thanks Shadow! Btw, my wife put a kabas on the JD, she said, "get the wheel barrow and move me some rocks to line this fake rock stream!" Darn women, they are such control freaks!!! I love her too...

Ok, 1970 #3 is my new "Thong ridin' singing song"..... ha, ha.... Lola by the Kinks... Whooooo wants a big frickin' hugggggg?!
Squeezing spines out could be my next job!
"I'm not the world's most passionate MAN, but I know what I am....."

That song will break anyone out of a depressive mood.... I would hate to live in that song's world....
Consider that the song made it to #3 in the good ole USA in 1970, chit are we weird over here or what....
Time to sing to the neighbors (LOLA, LA, LA, LA, La, LOLA), toss some wet paint brushes on their roofs and listen to them run into their TV rooms....
P.S. I had to play 1970 #8 just to get LOLA out of my little voice's mouth!

Nevada, you can't beat a good dog, buddy... sorry to hear that.
I lost my Aussie Sheperd (of 8 years) a little while back. He had a bad habit of chasing milk trucks... got him good. His name was Sky King. Dam good dog. It still hits me to think about him. He would do whatever I said...when i said it. He was gentle with little kids, and still a protector... the whole package, man.
I've got a Border Collie replacement now, though. He's very similar, really. Not quite as smart, I don't think... but he may just have me fooled.
Raider is his name...
Here's a pic when he was a pup (with the boy's retriever)... you can tell he's a clown..

They don't call dog's "man's best friend" for no reason....
As far as music goes, I think this was a welcome addition to the saloon...no doubt.
I'll drink... to music and to good dogs!
