I hear ya, sixpack. That sucks.
I was saving up for some new gear a few weeks ago. and the week I was gonna pull the trigger and buy the stuff... I cracked a dam tooth and the starter went out of my truck.
Dentist bill was $300 even with 80% insurance and I'm not even done yet.
It looks like the starter issues may actually be an electrical problem, too..

So im out shopping for last minute presents,its Christmas Eve in Aussie,the car starts to high rev................This is the same piece of Ford crap i spent $950.00 on last week getting the Auto rebuilt............
The big rebuild less than 500 kms ago has gone apeshyte.
Car towed away,taxi home...............$$ $$ $$.

So now i wait till Jan 4th for the Auto guy to reopen,with no car.

My wife and three kids were involved in a pileup tonight. She ended up being rearended by the guy that got rearended behind her...It was the third car in line whose driver was at fault. They claimed they were looking for a courier shop when all of a sudden the traffic was stopped in front of them. It pays to watch the road.
Everybody is okay but the van needs some work.
