I would like to admit that at one time I did actually have a fringed Hopalong Cassidy jacket and matching fringed gloves. I also had a teddy bear tied to the handlebars of my peddle bike. That was about 52 years ago. I was racing a guy when Teddy fell off and I kept peddling faster and faster. I won the race and never went back for Teddy. I hope Teddy is alright.

You will probably find that some crippled child has found it; and is now waiting for some Hairy Biker on a Honda to turn up and cure her from polio.
Potential movie there I think.

^I think the movie would be a big hit.
They already have a theme song for the movie, but its a country song.
Country songs are sad and will drag you down, so use caution when before playing the clip.
Only play the clip if you plan on drinking yourself into a crying drunken stupor, its a country song for god's sake, use caution.

Thanks for that TBT, I struggled to make it all way through. But I just manned up and dealt with it.
A truly touching song; but I do have to wonder about the motivation of all those truck drivers turning up to take Teddy Bear for a ride.
I'm almost certain a large percentage of them may have been just as interested in meeting the recently widowed Mama Teddy Bear?
And whilst on the subject of truly schmaltzy songs; never let it be said that US country singers have cornered that particular market.
While Seb will try and deny it, the Aussies actually do it pretty well too.
