A little bit of "related" history
Fruits of my recent travels
This is the wife's Grand Father from a photo dated 1923
The Bike is (by my estimation) a belt driven Royal Enfield
pre war (ww1) model 160 approx 1911 or maybe earlier
Goes to show ya "belt stretching" is not a new phenomenon !
This pretty much silenced "herself" lol as apparently her
Grand Father was something of a bike fanatic and went every
where on bikes but tragically lost a brother to a bike accident
when he hit a tree ........ and so it goes. He apparently kept
on riding ......................................Guessing there were no
Shoei Lids back then !
If anyone can pinpoint the exact year - I'm all ears to hear it

Not a 160 if it is an RE Sprock - they ALL had curved top tubes.
Just looking through a list of old pommy bikes now.
Not New Imperial, Not Norton, ummmmmmmmmmmm
I'll get back to you

Yeah it is Dylan .... neat as ****
and Seb the tank paint work points it to an RE imo
Dying to hear what you find - to be honest - been beat all
week so have not gone wild trying to figure it out - yet
The Man on the Bike was Honorable Treasurer of the
Milltown Golf Club & a founding member as listed in the
link as JE but infact was JC as in the photo which is
where is was taken (at the Golf Club)
RI3265
Registration Plate / License Tag (in the US )

Yep, I'll concede the tank paint is similar, but the frame is all wrong.
I'm 95% sure the motor is a Motosacoche engine of 2.75hp and 344cc which was used in the Enfields in 1910/11 and perhaps beyond.
