I wish! Only alcohol, but that's the worst one of all!!

Mind you brings back memories of space for breakfast, but in those days bed time was about seven in the evening otherwise it was total mind ohmy former life is catching up!!

Those days are long gone now, along with the brain cells five years in Amsterdam saw to that!

I think I'm getting withdrawal symptoms 'cos the 'Scarlet Harlot's' been off the road for about 2 weeks now, delerium is setting in

Of course the band is my namesake so I'll never really let go of the mind 'enhancing' drugs thing

Talking of namesakes, here's mine!!

Totally shyte of course but immenslly satisfying to play along to if you do a bit of guitar twiddling .............christ! i'm not sure I can even spell my ym won neym won onw now?????

Wow, Anastasia! you know she just deciced she was gonna be part of the band? She just got up on stage one night, dressed in nothing but body paint, began to dance and she was in??? Who the **** needs 'X; Factor??

Unfortunately it was toned down for the vids

While we're on a seventies flashback lets hear it for Lemmy, he should never have been kicked out of the band, he was my favourite member and every true Hawkwind fan knows it would have been much better if he'd stayed! Lemmy hatewd Fecking Hippies!! That guy is a tru rock 'n' roll legend! A role model for Angus Young

Space Ritual was financed by the only comercial single Hawkwind ever had. They plowed ALL the money into this tour and the fans that turned up expecting to hear 'Silver Machine', were bewildered by the wierd psycadelic sounds they heard?? And M. Moorcocks' poetry?? WTF!!

One of the sad old gits (actually he's a couple of years younger than me but I'll stick with that) in the office here travelled all the way to Blighty for Hawkfest 2008. Your vids have brought a satisfied smile to his face.

I'll have to break out the LPs again now.

Apparently Hawkwind are coming over here soon to play at some festival. I can't believe they are still functioning.

Hey Hawk, I only went to Amsterdam for a weekend in around '87...Stayed on one of those barges used as floating hotels. After a tough morning 'seeing the sights' and visiting various coffee shops for cake etc. I remember going back to the boat drinking Guiness and playing pool. Ever try to play pool on a slowly rocking boat? I think it was rocking anyway.

Five years??? Wow, that's what i call stamina.
