We have something called a crayfish - looks like a lobster without the big claws. Used to dive for them when younger, now my young friend Travis brings me the odd couple when he goes.........
Yep, we have a freshwater crayfish like that. We used to try to fill a 5 gal bucket full. Never got it clear full, but half full many times. We'd just boil the tails up. Good stuff! There was a bridge just up from my dad's house that was washed out under the piers. That's where the big one's lived.

Hey Mark, as I was eating lunch today I was thinking about ya and figured I'd snap a quick pic....
The wife came home from the gocery store yesterday with a 3lb surprise for me.

I Loooove sweet crab claws and a luck o' the Irish refreshment too ...ya have it made........very nice Sir Trout

Or are they Crayfish ?? ............nah they are Sweet Crab Legs for sure......outta Chesapeake Bay ??

had some of the others when I was down in NawLins .........hot and spicy and really yummy too

These are the Alaskan Snow Crab legs. Good stuff.
And the best part was that they were only $5/lb. I should have gone back and got more, but the wife doesn't eat 'em (I know.. wtf? lol).
I really like dungeness and king crab, too. Great stuff. Every couple months, the kings are on sale for $8/lb, which isn't bad, either.
