Only works when you have 4 wheels and are going less than 15 mph.

First day of Spring here in the Southern half...................
Winter is the best time for riding - starts to get too hot in Nov until almost March.
Biggest problem is the humidity - it's sub-tropical here, like Florida, so go figure, 105F and 90% humidity. Way too hot to ride, but do we........OF COURSE WE DO, and in FULL GEAR too..................
I don't think I could live in the snow and chit - not enough riding time.
I'd like a good Maine lobster now and then though.............

Don't envy you guys at all , with your 110 degree heat , I love hot assphalt but hate gettin' my *** too hot! . I've become what I call a ' Goldie Locks' rider , not too hot , not too cold ! Even the summer heat here in the UK is too much for me , I'd die ridin' through an Ozzy summer!!!

It's makin' a change to go out early and feel that chill in the air , what I'm gonna miss is the early morning light and long evening rides

Also riding with recless abandon , into a corner knowing the tyres will hang on even if I can't

I'll ride all through the winter though , there are days or hours that it can be cold but sunny , I'll just have to curb my enthusiasm a little . But as I was saying at the top of this thread a morning of slowing down and concentating on style improved my riding , after a whole winter doing that It'll be "move over Rossi"

In upstate New York it has been a very rainy summer. Second wettest on record and cold. I was in France during the month of August when the weather was nice at home. I am in Arkansas now. When I left home two days ago it was 47°F. I have done very little riding this summer. Where is all this global warming that everyone is talking about? The summers keep getting colder and colder.

Screw you, sprock......

Nothin' like a fresh lobster!

I like all kinds of seafood. I fricken' love it. I'll go for weeks just eating anything seafood related that I can find. I ate a whole box of frozen tilapia yesterday (and it sucked, like frozen junk always does)...lol...
I ate a whole can of anchovies on 3 slices of pizza the day before. Mmmm, salty!!
Tomorrow, I'm gonna take my lunch break down at a pond near work. Gonna eat a couple fresh largemouth. Good stuff. OOhh yes it is!

Anyway, back on topic. Weather has been perfect here all week. Nice and cool in the evenings, warm and sunny in the daytime. Great riding. Hope it lasts.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
DROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL I can taste them from here
]That's cruel and unusual punishment.

Oh, BTW we use Tilapia as bait here - not bad for catching tiger fish, about 250 miles north of here..............and we don't eat those either....hehe

We have something called a crayfish - looks like a lobster without the big claws. Used to dive for them when younger, now my young friend Travis brings me the odd couple when he goes.............
