Yup...scans rarely show the bastards up ... spyware is notorious for being able to hide from std system scans Mo...
I had a bug late last year that was causing a new window to pop up when ever I opened another browser ...it always took me off to this Anti spy ware website !!
As it turned out ..the Anti Spyware program that I had downloaded many mths before had a present built in , just waiting for the day I un installed the demo ....then it planted this fvuking bug that took me weeks to finaly get rid of ..
What do you use to scan for spyware Mo?

All I use is Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and what ever windows puts in. I can only presume there's a script running somewhere. Any help is appreciated. AHA, Just turned of JAVASCRIPT, and no redirect..... Now to find the script.

These day you have to be sure that the Spyware or Malware you download is clean it self though !!...
I have had some real painful experiences over the last year or so with bad , already infected Spy and Malware applications that were in actual fact were the delivery mechanisms for the bugs in the first place ..
Quite a bit of info on these crook applications can be easily searched out through our mate Goggle...
