hello all,

as you know I sold the CBR and was riding the KLR650 back and forth to work, mostly highway... well I did not feel safe, brakes not as good, acceleration not as good, so what do you do in a situation like this, go buy a Yamaha FJR1300.

pick it up next week, a 2001 model with 33K on the clock, pretty much brand new.

I was bidding on a CBR 95 model but was out bid at the last minute, so I suppose it was not meant to be.

All the best

Nice to see you back around Johnno, don't be a stranger just because you don't have a CBR anymore. Your experience and input will always be appreciated.

Hope you enjoy you enjoy the new toy, I'm sure you will; all new toys are good aren't they?

The FJR1300 is a lovely, solid bike. Enjoy it Johnno and post a pic when you can.

FJR1300.......Great ride I'm sure you will love it. Had a blast on one a little while ago (belongs to the guy who does my 6monthly warrent of fitness inspection) so I thought that if it was good enough for him to test ride my bike it was only fair that I should take his for a blast.Upright, smooth, good handling, enough grunt to get you in trouble, altogether a nice ride.
I'm sure you will love the Yamahappy as much as you loved your HONDA
All the best ,and keep the black sticky bits on the road

Picked the bike up last Friday, rolled into garage and left, spent the weekend in Albury seeing Neil Finn & Paul Kelly and what a concert it was.

Will take some pics later today and post up real soon
