Default Ideas on value of used GoldWing GL1500 '96

I have an opportunity to buy a GL 1500 that has been sitting in a garage for about 5 years. It is under a cover and looks very good, cant remember miles and I know the owner, and Im sure he maintained it well.
I have to assume that it will "at the least need"; battery, carb work, and tires.
Checked kbb and "good" cond was $3900.

Am only considering to use for 2 up touring so I don't have to use my cbr for something the GL is much better suited for, not to replace the cbr, no way.

Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated

You might call Crazy Larry's in Lakewood, WA. He's a Goldie specialist and loves to talk bikes.

They mount my tires for me

Just saw that, Sprock.

A weakness for the pun is a sign of good character

Dayum taking too long to reply is bad character !

Look at these two gentlemen of compliments.

that's where Kens from btw and going north for me has always

Value of a Goldwing 1500?

It's entirely down to the buyer.

How big is your boat? what size anchor do you actually need?

Maybe you could get away with an 883 Sportster?
