For some reason I can't figure out a few things...shut up Sprockie boy & let me finish...thank you. Can someone spell it out for me here or PM me how to post pictures & signiture. All I get when I try is a link but I want the actual picture to post like the rest of you clowns. Thanks for your help in advance.

Joel, go to the "user cp" (top left)
then go to "edit signature"
then add either the pic off your hard drive or a picture's URL in the provided spaces and upload them.
Then when the pic comes up you click "insert pic" or some chit and it will dump it in your sig between [SIGPIC][SIGPIC]
Then preview to see if that's how you want it, and then adjust from there.
Next, click on "save" to save that pic into your signature.
Finally......Tell sprock to go **** himself.

Just remember that there are size limits on sigpics, but I think it will autosize it for you.

Yes, the tricky thing about pictures is you can't paste a picture in a response or signature. It has to be "hosted" somewhere else, like on www.photobucket.com which is free. You upload your pictures there (anything you have already saved on your computer hard drive) and then there will be a bunch of boxes that magically appear under it. One of them is the IMG CODE which you click on and then copy and you past that link into your response or signature. It's some weird interweb magic deal. I don't get it at all.

Warning, if you move the fricken picture in photobucket your screw up the link and have to do it again. Usually photobucket will warn you if you are about to make that mistake.

I just noticed today, that photobucket has reorganized their home page and now it is much more intuitive. Make folders you want to be permanent so you can organize your pictures, some for public, some not, motorcycles together, funny stuff, ets. So go gett'm.

Joel, You can copy and paste [IMG] codes in regular posts, but it won't work in your signature.

You have to copy the URL into the box where you upload your sig pics. It is called the 'direct link' in photobucket. Otherwise, it won't upload, it will just give you a link in your sig.

You will see the pic in the preview box when it works, and you HAVE to save it afterward or it won't show up, either....

BUT, if you want to just upload a pic from your computer, you can. You just have to put the file location in the other upload box. (not the one for the URL) and follow the same remaining steps.

Oh, and did I mention to tell sprock to go **** himself? I can't remember.... lol..

While the above post by classic is pretty detailed, it forgot one crucial step........ you have to tell sprock to go **** himself.
If you don't, your sig will never load.

Man, I wish I coulda hid from work today. It's 27F (about -3C) here at the moment. Very windy, too.... which just makes it WAY worse working outside.

And yes, that long nap made a world of difference...
